We offer three types of surface treatment for wood: paint, stain and oil. For all three options the milled window elements receive an applied finish before hardware and glazing are installed. This way we can ensure that the entirety of all wood surfaces are encased by a seamless protective coating. Due to the elasticity, permeability, gloss stability, tensile strength and water tightness of our finishing products, we can guarantee a long-lasting durability of the window units. For paints and stains we use only water-soluble systems.
These are environmentally friendly and emit no unpleasant oders or toxins when installed. The paint and stain composition consists of four layers: Impregnation (protection against blue stain and rot), a primer for optimal adhesion of the subsequent coating, a mid-coat, and a final topcoat, which generally contains the chosen pigmentation.
